Talk about electric. I was selected to photograph the BIG XII wrestling championships here in Lincoln, NE. The atmosphere was absolutely intense and definitely the loudest fans I have ever heard in the coliseum. I couldn’t help but feel the passion these crazy fans have for their team. The Huskers won their first Big XII wrestling championship in history and I was glad to be their photographer for this special occasion. I had an absolute blast photographing this event. My day started around 9:00 am and didn’t end until just before 1:00 am….oh yeah it was a long day filled with over 2000 exposures. Here are some shots from the day with the rest to come by the end of the week. All the final images will be posted on www.huskerwrestling.com. The Nebraska Cornhuskers had 4 Big XII champions. Jordan Burroughs, Craig Brester, Brandon Browne, Vince Jones…CONGRATULATIONS. You guys definitely deserve it. Good luck at Nationals!
